Individual membership
Individual membership is open to anyone residing in the United States of America, its territories, and its possessions. Individual memberships are $18 and will be valid through January 31, 2011. Benefits of membership include:
- Membership card that entitles you to compete in AFL tournaments
- Participation in the AFL Winter Nationals and Conference
- Right to vote for AFL leadership positions (must be an adult member)
- Right to hold office (must be an adult member)
- Subscription to quarterly newsletter

If you wish to pay by check, please enclose a check with your completed application and mail it to us.
You may also complete an application on the day of the tournament and give it and a check made payable to the American Fencing League to the bout committee, who will then forward it to the secretary.
Organizational membership
Organizational membership is open to fencing clubs and other organizations located in the United States of America, its territories, and its possessions. Organizational memberships are $18 and will be valid through January 31, 2011. Benefits of membership include:
- Subscription to newsletter
- Listing on our web site
- Privilege of fielding teams to AFL team competitions
- Your fencers will be listed with their club affiliation instead of "unattached"
- Bound copy of the latest AFL rules (one free copy per club per membership year)
