From AFLwiki, promoting the art and sport of standard fencing in America
Welcome to the website for the American Fencing League!
AFL Dissolved as 501c3
The board has approved the dissolution of the American Fencing League as of April 23, 2015.
Due to the number of members currently active in the AFL as well as the fact that only local level tournaments are being held, the board approved extending membership for both individuals and clubs indefinitely. This will mean any member who joined in 2009 or later will continue to have membership privileges until further notice. Fencers who want to compete in AFL tournaments will still need to join, but they will also be given the same privileges as current members.

AFL Tournaments Being Held in the Pacific Northwest
Numerous standard fencing foil and sabre as well as one-touch epee tournaments have been held in the last six months in Oregon.
- Salem Classical Fencing has been host to fencers from as far away as Sisters as they continue to host meets for every level of fencing from beginner to advanced.
The American Fencing League continues to look forward to many more opportunities for fencers to test their mettle as they go up against other fencers who enjoy visually judged fencing.
At its September 2009 meetings, the AFL board approved numerous changes to the rules, effective immediately.
