Joining the AFL

Individual membership is open to anyone residing in the United States of America, its territories, and its posessions. 2007-8 individual memberships are $18 and will be valid through August 31, 2008. Benefits of membership include:

  • Membership card that entitles you to compete in AFL tournaments
  • Right to vote for AFL leadership positions (must be an adult member)
  • Right to hold office (must be an adult member)
  • Subscription to quarterly newsletter

Organizational membership is open to fencing clubs and other organizations located in the United States of America, its territories, and its possessions. 2007-8 organizational memberships are $18 and will be valid through August 31, 2008. Benefits of membership include:

  • Subscription to quarterly newsletter
  • Listing on our web site
  • Privilege of fielding teams to AFL team competitions
  • Your fencers will be listed with their club affiliation instead of "unattached"
